Hoppy Days Inflatables
Built on spec — a portfolio piece and a rebrandable template.
A bounce house built from letters — two turrets, a doorway, a flag on top. The rainbow wordmark carries the kids-party energy so a photo doesn't have to.
What this was
A marketing site for a party-rental business, built on spec — a finished site rather than a mockup. It does double duty: a portfolio piece, and a template another rental company can take over with its own name, photos, and prices.
What got built
A catalog of 24 inflatables, grouped by type, each with a photo and a per-day price. A page for every unit — the dimensions, ages, power, and space a parent actually asks about — and a reserve-a-date form that arrives pre-set to the unit you came from.

It's a static site — every page is plain HTML that loads fast and works with JavaScript off. It runs on Cloud Run and scales to zero when no one's on it. Every business fact — name, phone, town, prices — lives in one file, so moving it to a real brand is a short job, not a rebuild.

What was tricky
Three bugs worth keeping. A sticky header that passed every test but broke on an actual phone — an iOS Safari quirk that headless Chrome can't reproduce, so I test at real phone sizes now. A form that cleared itself on the first autofill-and-submit, because the page reloaded before its JavaScript loaded. And a logo that fell back to the wrong font, because an image-loaded SVG can't reach the site's own type. Each one found, each one fixed.
What it is now
A working site anyone can see, and a template ready for the next rental company. Built finished on purpose — so there's something real to point to, and something the next operator can take over.
